NY & Hollywood, CA – As America remembers the anniversary of 9-11, surviving families and victims of the Twin Towers tragedy can take advantage of radio interviews over WOR AM radio, Wednesday morning, September 11th, on the Joey Bishop Show (2 AM), which will feature Australian Phenomenon and Hypnotherapist Dr. Rick Collingwood. “People can create positive healing connections, and to bring their conscious mind into harmony with their subconscious mind, which regulates the healing mechanisms of the body,” said Collingwood, who has sold more than 400,000 CDs, and he has a 80 percent success rate with most of his clinical patients.

The Mind Body Healing CD is formatted to “create positive healing connections and to bring your body into harmony with your subconscious mind,” which Dr. Collingwood says “regulates all of the healing mechanisms of the body.”

Breaking News: The Golden Age Of Graham Perkin $33.99 It is now more than 30 years since Graham Perkin’s tragically premature death but his legacy lives on in every corner of the Australian media. Perkin was without question the country’s greatest editor of the 20th century. In his nine years at the helm of The Age he transformed a venerable but moribund rag into a paper regularly voted one of the world’s ten best broadsheets alongside such great titles as The Washington Post and The Times of London. He changed forever the way that the media looks at society and the way that people relate to the media. In this insightful vigorous biography veteran investigative journalist and Walkley Award winner Ben Hills who worked under Perkin’s editorship for six years chronicles the life and times of Australia’s most influential newspaper editor and the history of the newspaper to which he devoted his tremendous talents. From a little town in Victoria’s dusty Mallee to the door of the Fairfax boardroom from the twilight of the Menzies era to the death throes of the Whitlam government from formulaic moth-balled reportage to socially responsible investigative journalism Breaking News paints a vivid picture of Graham Perkin’s remarkable career. It is biography at its best and the personality and energy of this big bluff cyclone of a man jumps from the pages. Most of all however it is a portrait of media power of the last of the great editors who by the force of their convictions made a difference to society a breed for whom there is no place in today’s corporate media conglomerates with their focus on cost-cutting and the short-term bottom line. A cracking story in its own right Breaking News is an engrossing read not only for those who remember Perkin and the golden age of Australian newspapers but also for everyone who reads the paper or watches the news today. |

Breaking the Spirit of Addiction $11.99 “Breaking the Spirit of Addiction was inspired by the Holy Spirit to help people who are slaves to drug and other addictions. This book provides an in-depth look at how Jesus Christ offers complete and permanent deliverance from Satan’s traps, as opposed to the constant recycling process in which many addicts find themselves just “going through the motions” of secular recovery programs. Additionally, this book helps addicts to clearly identify the strongholds they are dealing with, by providing practical biblically-based principles to overcome them. The author, Sam J. Jones, is Bishop of the Good News Fellowship of Churches in Birmingham Alabama. The Good News Fellowship is a mission sponsored by the Eastern Mennonite Missions of Salunga, PA. Long before he became Bishop, Jones worked successfully with hundreds drug addicts for over 17 years. Jones is the president and founder of Highways & Hedges Outreach Training Center, which began in Kankakee, Illinois, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is now located in Birmingham, Alabama. He is a master trainer for the National Center for Fathering where he trains facilitators across the nation to facilitate classes to “return the fathers heart to their children.” He is presently employed with the University of Alabama Birmingham as a project director of the Birmingham Fatherhood Initiative where he worked with over 250 fathers weekly who are struggling with some type of drug addiction.” |

The Gospel-Driven Life: Being Good News People in a Bad News World $19.99 “In his well-received Christless Christianity Michael Horton offered a prophetic wake-up call for a self-centered American church. With The Gospel-Driven Life he turns from the crisis to the solutions, offering his recommendations for a new reformation in the faith, practice, and witness of contemporary Christianity. This insightful book will guide readers in reorienting their faith and the church’s purpose toward the good news of the gospel. The first six chapters explore that breaking news from heaven, while the rest of the book focuses on the kind of community that the gospel generates and the surprising ways in which God is at work in the world. Here is fresh news for Christians who are burned out on hype and are looking for hope.” |
